Gboard - the Google Keyboard Review
Enter The GBoard
Gboard is already the default keyboard by some industry standards, usually coming with Android devices. But if you currently own an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy, it's time to switch to the Gboard, the Google keyboard. But the keyboard I have now is fine...you say. Fine is a movie that has an ending that is less than memorable. Fine is a piece of cake that doesn't taste like the greatest slice of cake in the world. The Gboard is more than fine, it is the ultimate in keyboarding software, allowing you to draw...yes, draw...an emoji. But there is more.
The Gboard, being the product of Google, contains the almighty algorithm that makes Google what it is today. It supports voice to text in dozens of languages. The Gboard is an elephant among sheep when it comes to comparisons with other keyboards. Built inside the Gboard is a GIF search function. And...hold the applause...there is a GIF creator inside the iOS based version. You can actually create a GIF anytime you want, from your keyboard.
More Than Searching
The Gboard offers more than just searching. It's functionality goes way beyond what you would expect from a keyboard. There are things associated with touching the pad just gently enough, such as a double tap on the space bar which creates a period. If you have short stubby fingers like your author, you can minimize the keyboard to fit your needs as well.
The key word with the Gboard is convenience. You can swipe to erase a letter, a word, or even a whole sentence. The keyboard does it all, and it's free. The convenience of the Gboard is it's winning attribute. It will make texting even more easier now, and with the fun additions of sending GIF's and images, a user can exhibit all the Gboard has to offer.
