Google Chrome

Google Chrome Description

At this time Google Chrome for mobile devices is available only on Android and iOS. As always, Windows takes more time to adapt and let competing browsers run on their beloved OS. (pun intended).

Google's Chrome browser has evolved into the most popular way to view the web. With close to 60% market-share amongst browsers there really is no other way to phrase it.

Google Chrome comes packed with awesome features that make the web more enjoyable.

Chrome offers a faster browsing experience as well as incognito browsing which does not save any cookies or session data about web sites you have visited. (Attention: Incognito mode does not change or hide your IP address).

The Chrome browser includes everything from integrated voice search, near instantaneous search results that are displayed while you type, integrated translations as well as Google's safe browsing feature that protects you from visiting harmful web sites.

Google Chrome Review

About

These days Google is celebrating the 20th birthday. Two decades of existence brought the most famous name in the whole world. The company has many products, such as the powerful web browser “Google Chrome”.

Open your window into the world of the Internet.

Google Chrome Features

Modest interface, understandable for everyone. At first, Google Chrome stood out for their design and simplicity. Nowadays, others companies saw potential in Chrome. They changed the design and other features in order to become a competition to Chrome.

In the middle of the screen, there is a search box. Type whatever you want and google! You can search for the name of the page or even type a whole web address. Approximately for less than one second, it will show you pages to choose.

You can open multiple pages at one time, and see them in separated tabs. On the computer, there is a possibility to open a new window with multiple tabs.

Bookmark pages you like, to access them much faster, whenever you want. On the first page, besides search box, there is you searching history. If you want, you can keep it, to visit sites once again, or delete all history.

Quickly search with the predictable option. Autofill password for important sites. It’s useful and I like it for most frequently visited sites. You can save e-mail and password where you have everyday access.

Use Google Voice and surf on the go. It is “hands-free” model of using the app. When you are in rush, just open Google Chrome and say the phrase you want to search.

Built-in PDF means that you don’t have to install Adobe software to view and read PDF files. It opens a document in a new tap as soon as you tap on the link. Don’t have to worry about phone storage by installing additional apps.

Translate

You have probably faced with reading some scientific paper which is not in your native language. You were trying so hard to understand every word and type in Google translate everything you don’t know. The developers were thinking about that. There is an option for translating the whole page in the language you understand very well. It’s one tap away.

Google chrome vs. others

It’s one of the speediest browsers. It loads the page for about a second (wow). Others browsers like Mozilla and Safari load a part of a second faster. There are some which are slower. But after all, it’s one blink difference.

Personally, I would never choose Internet Explorer, because I had an unpleasant experience. The startup is so slow, browsing is difficult and takes a lot of time loading the page. Microsoft launched the new browser to replace Internet Explorer, called Microsoft Edge.

Sync

Have an entrée with every device you own. Google Chrome supports any kind of smartphone, computer, and tablet. With one e-mail address log in Google Chrome and access it with a couple of devices.

Privacy

When you are searching through the web, Chrome has security that displays a warning if the website is not trusted. Prevent you from hackers’ sites. All in all, browsers have their own protection from malware or viruses, but having antivirus software installed is a way smarter option.

Turn on “incognito” mode to surf without tracking. Searched history won’t be seen. By hiding history, there will be automatically deleted passwords and cookies from that session. This thing is very lovely. If you share the phone/computer with someone. If they want to surf on the Internet with your phone, they won’t be able to access your profiles on social networks.

However, Google memorizes and stores everything we type. Based on our searching and interests, it offers advertisements which we would like. It’s another question of privacy. I don’t like for anyone to collect my data, but there’s no browser which completely doesn’t track your surfing.

Conclusion

In many languages often used the word for surfing or searching on the Internet is just “google”. There’s no question why is Google Chrome one of the most famous web browsers. It’s speedy and fulfills every need you have by surfing on the Internet. On the other hand, this app decreases battery life more than you can imagine. Overall, in order to explore the Internet, you have to have a web browser. Choose one that you like

and

Google it!
