Knock Down Description

Knock Down is a slingshot game much like Angry Birds, but instead of protecting eggs from pigs, you're merely tossing angry red balls at stacks of colorful cubes.

Knock Down Review

Knock Down reviewerMarc

I love playing physics games like Angry Birds, but at times, I wish there were something a bit more simple that didn't focus so much on a story.

The developers keep things simple with Knock Down, but there are plenty of nostalgia-inducing qualities to the game as well. Although the background in each level is pretty bland, the platforms in which the blocks are stacked will remind you of the base to several pig hideouts in the more popular physics title.

Aim Assistance

If there's one thing that ruins a game for my family, it's not having anything to help my toddler understand the trajectory of something she launches in a game.

Luckily, the developers of Knock Down have implemented a trajectory feature that will show you precisely where each ball is going to land once you launch it. Because she has some visual aid, it means that I can get some things done around the house while she plays the game and I don't have to stop every few minutes to help her.

Increased Difficulty

Although the game is easy to play, the actual difficulty of each puzzle becomes increasingly difficult each time you complete a level. There are only 36 levels in the entire game, so the fact that each level is more stringent than the last means far more replay value for the game.

You are limited to the number of times that you can try a level back to back, so many people get stuck on one level for quite some time before moving forward in the game. Use boosters and the aim assistance tool to break your way through all of the cube towers to reach the highest level.

Family-Friendly Physics

What I love about games like Knock Down is that there is no gore or violence to scare my kids, only good clean tower smashing fun. Knock Down is a free method of teaching your children the importance of fundamental physics and is easy enough to play for even the youngest member of your family to give it a try.
