Microsoft Excel Review

Microsoft Excel reviewerMarc

More than likely either you or someone you know uses Microsoft Excel; it's a program that helps you create an electronic spreadsheet. Many of us use spreadsheets every single day, at the workplace, during school, creating financial charts, or to help us convey a viewpoint.

One problem you may have is you're constantly on the go, having to rely on your cell phone or smart device, this I when I discovered Microsoft Excel. You can download it in your app store; it's a pretty convenient and reliable tool to have that solved many of the issues I was having when trying to use spreadsheets through my mobile browser.

There are many benefits of using the Microsoft Excel App; as you'll discover it has a variety of different functions. It's definitely the most powerful spreadsheet tool out there. It has a pretty impressive array of built-in features. One Huge advantage of using Microsoft Excel on my mobile device is, it allows me to convey my ideas properly, by using grafts and spreadsheets that are easy to read and comprehend. It is doing that without the drawbacks you will come across when working in a Google sheet through your web browser on a tiny screen.

Good Tool to Help Monitor Finances

Microsoft Excel is great for financial accounting; it allows you to be able to visualize your statements, giving you a reference and time frame, allowing you to monitor changes in revenue. You can use this to create a chart to monitor the changes in your business's annual income, and use it to help improve the over efficiency of your business. This will let you plan your company's budget and increase their future growth.

You can also use a chart to keep track of your own personal spending habits to help determine if there are areas in your life where you can save money and create a budget. You can use it to make balance sheets, income statements, and it is a good way to keep track of your payable earnings.

Organizing Data

It's the best tool to help you sort data, for example if you have a contact list of 2000 people, you can use a spreadsheet to organize them by name, occupation, or where they're from. The app allows you to easily edit entire sections of data by highlighting them and selecting all, letting you delete copy or edit whatever you need. With the app, you are able to modify your data from anywhere. There are many benefits of using Microsoft Excel, downloading it can help add structure to many tasks you face in your daily life.

Add-On Features

It has a lot of great add-on features; the coolest feature I'd say is the app gives you the ability to draw using your finger or apple pencil (I'm an iOS guy). You also have the ability to insert photos, but now you're able to take a physical photo of table data and transform it into a digital spreadsheet. It can take any printed or hand-drawn data and then convert it into an organized digital spreadsheet; these visuals are created with enhanced AI technology. You have an option of 3 different charts, with 7 themes for each, 16 shapes, it's a pretty versatile tool to have.

Share your Data and Tell a Story

You're able to easily edit and send your files or workbook messages, allowing you to work anywhere. The best part is it lets you easily be able to share a file, letting others edit and review your work. You're also able to copy the spreadsheet and send it in an email or link.

Microsoft Excel gives you the ability to better tell a story, by letting you highlight important sections of your data. You're also able to make notes in your spreadsheet, which may come in handy when formulating data or creating a graph. Microsoft Excel can also be easily integrated with other applications. Some spreadsheets I've worked on have contained tens of thousands of rows or data, but using Microsoft Excel allows me to easily organize and record data. I can also use its search filter to find a specific keyword that I had trouble locating.

Powerful Tool in the Classroom

You can also use it as a great teaching tool for students; with the application, you use Microsoft Excel to teach your classroom off of your tablet. Many schools are integrating tablets and smart devices in their classrooms because many students are more motivated to learn when using a smart device. Many teachers use Excel to create charts to share with other educators to help them come up with a better narrative.

Microsoft Excel is by far the most efficient spreadsheet app, it can be used for a variety of different purposes, and has an easy to operate interface. The only small disadvantage is it lacks printing capabilities, but I can confidently say that Microsoft Excel is the most convenient, easy to navigate mobile application for creating a spreadsheet.
