PEPI Skate 3D Description

PEPI Skate 3D puts you on a skateboard and sends you flying down busy city streets with tons of obstacles in the way.

You'll also need to collect as many coins as you can, much like any other running game you've probably played, but this time you'll need to perform tricks on your board as well.

PEPI Skate 3D Review

PEPI Skate 3D reviewerMarc

I've always enjoyed driving games and the new tunnel runner-style games that have hit the mobile market. There are so many of them in the mobile play store now, but when I saw that there was a skateboarding version joining the genre, I knew I wanted to give the game a try.

PEPI Skate 3D is a tricky, neat skateboarding game. Is it worth checking it out?

Decent Graphics

Although I've seen far more realistic graphics in mobile games these days, PEPI Skate 3D doesn't let fans down with the aesthetics of the game. As you roll your way down each course, you'll pass vehicles, buildings, people, and many other obstacles that look like they could be part of a low-end PC game.

Though the graphics aren't perfect, I've definitely seen far worse in the mobile gaming market. PEPI Skate 3D offers just enough realism to its graphics to keep you fully immersed into the game.

Simple Controls

The control system for the game is rather simple; all you have to worry about is tilting your phone and performing simple sliding gestures to flip, slide, kick, and roll your board through each course.

The way the controls are setup give the game a comfortable feel, although at times the skater doesn't seem to react as quickly as you might want him to, though that could be explained away with a bad connection to the game server.

Bland Courses

The biggest disappointment I felt when playing PEPI Skate 3D was that the developers seemed to lack imagination when they created the various courses for your virtual skater.

With the graphics not being as realistic as they could be, the repetitive nature of the courses seems to get more and more dull with every turn. Most of them are simply a straight shot with a few jumps here and there.

The lack of imagination when it comes to the different levels in the game wouldn't be so bad, however, if you have young children playing the game as it becomes easier and more comfortable to play over time.

If you're looking for a simple running-style game to pass the time, then PEPI Skate 3D could definitely be an entertaining option, at least for a little while.
