Pinterest is one of those apps that I'm not quite sure how I survived without it. Not only can you search for any recipe known to man, but you can put yourself out there to be seen by the world if you have something unique to offer.
Anyone from teachers, homemakers, parents, mechanics, bakers and countless others can easily use Pinterest to find inspiration or incite it in others.

Promote Your Blog or Business
Most people use Pinterest to scroll recipes, birthday party ideas, or just to appreciate the creativity of others. But did you know that you can use Pinterest to promote your blog or business as well?
If you happen to run an Etsy business or something like it, or you run a blog that you want to increase traffic on, then make sure to upload eye-catching images of your work or an invitation to your blog that will make people want to click on it. When users click on your pin, it will automatically take them to your website which will increase your traffic immensely.
An Endless Recipe Book
My personal favorite use for Pinterest is to find recipes when I'm lacking inspiration in my kitchen. There are other times I've simply lost a recipe and end up finding an even better one when I start browsing the selection on Pinterest.
What's great about finding your recipes through the app is that you can choose to print them out directly from Pinterest, so you can essentially create a hardcopy recipe book if you prefer. I find it much easier to keep my phone with me and scroll through the instructions as I need them; after all, we have to do our part to save some paper, right?
I probably have thousands of pins saved to my Pinterest account, but it's a lot easier than it sounds to find what you're looking for when you create customized boards. Every time I see a new kind of recipe or makeup tutorial, how-to, or any other type of content, I always create a new board with a specific title, so I know exactly where my pin was saved. You can also search by name to pull up pins more quickly if you're in a rush.
Pinterest has saved me so much time and energy from calling my mother or grandmother for a recipe out of the old family archives. Now, I can find what I need and save it to my phone instead of having a ton of scrap paper with recipes written on them.
