Nowadays, everyone who has a smartphone is a photographer, but not all of us have the same tools as professionals to make our pictures really pop.
Growing up, I had always wanted Photoshop so I could both animate and stylize pictures on my computer. Unfortunately, I never had the money for such a program, but now that I've downloaded the Snapseed app for my phone, I can do just about everything I've ever wanted without having to spend a dime.

Extensive Tools & Features
I was surprised to find that Snapseed gives you 29 unique tools and filters to use on JPG and RAW files on your device. You can choose anything from a tool that will help you adjust the line of the horizon to a filter that will enhance the features of a persons face.
If you've ever used your phone to edit photos before, then I'm sure you're familiar with the standard filters and tools that will transform your entire picture with the press of a button. Although these have been great to use in the past, Snapseed makes it simple to tweak specific spots of your image with a little brush tool that will pinpoint details you want to smooth out or enhance.
There are several unique tools that Snapseed uses to make editing your pictures even more precise, which is precisely why it feels like I have a toned-down version of Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator on my phone and tablet. Instead of slapping one filter over an image, I can choose which parts of the picture I want to enhance.
Adding Text As Image Overlay
One of my favorite features in Snapseed allows you to add text to your image files. This means that you can create content for your blog, personalized greeting cards for your friends and family, or simply make a digital scrapbook to commemorate a special occasion.
Snapseed has made editing pictures on my phone and tablet so much more customizable than merely using the standard filters and tools in the camera feature. I actually take more photos now than ever before because of the options and features that Snapseed gives me.
If you are an artist who wants a more in-depth service to stylize pictures on your device or you simply want more options for creating memorable photographs, then make sure to add the Snapseed app to your mobile arsenal to get started.
