Stack Description

Stack is a game that only takes one finger to play, and you can mostly zone out while you're tapping your finger on the screen to stack blocks.

There are little to no distractions in the game, so you only need to keep your eye on the prize and try to perfectly time blocks release.

Stack Review

Stack reviewerMarc

Most of the time, when I'm playing a game on my phone, it's because I want to relax and clear my mind after a long day. Games have become so violent and gory with their content these days, that it ends up stressing me out more to play games with that kind of content.

Perfect Timing

Timing is the only thing you need to concern yourself to succeed in Stack. Stack starts off on the ground with a thin colored block, and you'll see another block gliding back and forth above it.

Once you think the blocks are perfectly lined up, tap the screen to drop it on top of the pile. If you don't line each side up precisely, the sliver of the block that is hanging off will fall from the collection, making your stack smaller and more tricky to deal with.

Beautiful Colors

One of my favorite parts about this game is that the colors are soft and pastel-like, so it's easy to play in the dark or when I'm trying to settle down for bed.

The background typically stays a specific color until you advance to a higher level of the stack, then you may notice that the color gradients to a comparable one. Each time you lay a slab onto the pile of blocks, you'll also see that they slightly change color every time you get a new one.

So, by the time you are done with your stack, you'll be left with a gradient of color from top to bottom.

Calming Tone

I can't tell you how many times I've almost fallen asleep playing this game, and not from boredom either. As if the calming colors of the background and bricks weren't enough, Stack also plays a soft dinging tone every time that you tap your finger to place a block on the stack.

Look no further than Stack in the play store if you've been searching for a relaxing game to play when you have some alone time. Be sure to keep your eye on the rising stack and time your taps perfectly to succeed.
